Namoo is a Korean-born artist and creative director whose vibrant paintings and collaborative installations refuse to choose a side between realism and abstraction. Drawing inspiration from his Korean heritage as well as tangible and intangible sources, Namoo's work transcends conventional boundaries to create welcoming spaces for visitors to inhabit.

Since collaborating with visual artists and musicians across Europe (London, Lisbon, Barcelona) and South Korea, Namoo has spent the last year making modular paintings and creating artistic events and environments in and around Providence, RI. Restaurants, student groups, bands, and radio stations have all been partners. Namoo currently lives and works in Providence, RI, where he is expected to graduate from Brown University in the spring of 2024 with a degree in Visual Art. Constantly in search for collaborators and creatives, he will be moving to New York in June 2024 to begin the next chapter of his life.
